Unfortunately there are many in America that go without and are in need. In Winston-Salem 1 in 4 children are lacking access to sufficient food to their nutritional needs. Children in Winston-Salem suffer from other needs in their life. It takes more than a bowl of soup to mold and shape a successful, well rounded child. Many of the children we meet are starving also for love, attention, encouragement, and direction. We NEED your help as we reach out to those in despair. Meeting their everyday needs like: clothes, shoes, coats, beds, food, as well as friendship, love and Jesus. If someone doesn't take the time to care in a personal way these children repeat history of their parents and grandparents, who went through life feeling that no one cared.
City Lights Ministry is providing meals and groceries to at least 600+ children a week with our mobile food pantry truck, giving clothes to 100s of children a month, putting over 2500 children in beds that were sleeping on the floor and taking the love of Jesus to the streets in 12 different neighborhoods. City Lights continues to grow, with your help we are able to continue to reach out to more in our city.
